This little guy was 10 weeks old during our session, which can typically be a challenging age to photograph. If you are looking to do the sleepy, curly, nude newborn shots, this is why its important to get them to me within the first 7-10 days. After this time, babies tend to uncurl and its not always feasible to take the nude shots. Babies are also less likely to sleep, which is ok. Those wide-eyed shots are just as precious. If they do fall asleep, then we can try some more traditional newborn poses. I still don’t recommend clothing (unless its a special outfit) because its still overwhelming to their tiny bodies.
Matthew was the perfect model for this session at this age, though! He wasn’t very forthcoming with the smiles, but man, was he cute! He was very relaxed and just kind of hung out while I photographed him. He did eventually fall asleep and then we were able to do a little more, but I love the awake shots just as much as the sleeping ones! His big sisters clearly adore him, too!

New Wedding Product – Proof Magazine

I’m really excited to offer this new product that I know every one of my brides will want. I know that its something I wish I had when I received a disk off images from my own wedding years ago. It can be a bit overwhelming to open up that CD / DVD of 400+ images and see hundreds of tiny little thumbnails staring back at you. Here’s beautiful little one year old Gabriella with her mommy and daddy who obviously adore her! We were lucky enough that the weather was a little cooler than normal and despite a few raindrops, we were able to complete their session about 1/2 hour before it started pouring! I enjoyed working with you guys, Gabriella is a doll!
